Hobson Prior are looking for a Senior Scientific Associate Drug Product to join a growing biopharmaceutical company in Switzerland who focus on discovering, developing and bringing more, pioneering medicines to patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact for 3rd parties, e.g., CMOs and CROs, for defined analytical tasks.
• Organization of laboratory activities.
• Development, optimization and application of analytical methods, e.g. for purity, stability, content, dissolution and cleaning verification determinations.
• Independent evaluation and development of novel analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Partaking in meetings at intra and inter-departmental level (e.g. CMC).
• Write up of these analytical methods for implementation (GMP and non-GMP).
• Review and interpretation of analytical data including results from method development, release retest, validation, stability, and transfer.
• Write-up and review of analytical protocols and repots, e.g. for validation and stability studies.
• Conduct of validation, release, retest, stability and transfer analyses (all GMP).
• Proper documentation of all non-GMP developmental activities.
• Proper documentation of all GMP activities according to Good Documentation Practices through compilation of all analytical testing records.

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship, college, university degree, or equivalent education in the field of chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, or chemical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical or equivalent industry.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry with superior knowledge of separation science and spectroscopic instrumentations and techniques.
• Superior trouble-shooting skills for analytical analyses.
• Advanced knowledge of GMP.
