Hobson Prior are currently working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation who focuses on enabling better access to medicines for patients all over the world by developing, manufacturing and supplying cost-effective medicines. Our client is looking for a Senior QA Officer to join them on a permanent basis located in Essex.

Job Responsibilities:

• You are responsible to ensure all activities across the site are carried out according to cGMP and the site Quality Systems, including contributing to both internal and external audit programmes.
• Deliver Quality oversight of production operations to constantly drive to deliver high standards of cGMP and general housekeeping.
• Organise non-conformances raised by the business, ensuring that non-conformances are reported and investigated with corrective actions (where applicable) are completed to agreed timescales.
• Leading and overseeing members of the QA departments and deputising for the QA Team Leader where necessary.
• Undertake batch review, prior to formal sentencing by QP, for both licensed and unlicensed products, operating within both company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• A level in a science related subject.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a GMP environment.
• Previous pharmaceutical operational experience (i.e. manufacturing or quality control).
