Hobson Prior are working with an Italian Pharmaceutical organisation who are determined to develop therapeutics for patients in an innovative and cost-efficient manner. Our client is seeking a talented Senior or Principal Biostatistician to be home-based on a permanent basis, to provide statistical support and expertise to studies across multiple TAs, with a primary focus on Phases II + III.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable to 'lead' the development of Statistical Analysis Plans and study protocols, plus contribute towards study design discussions and sample size calculations in project meetings.
• Contribute to the review of CRFs, analysis datasets and TFL specifications.
• You will 'lead' external vendor project teams to conduct statistical analyses and interpret the statistical results.
• Lead the communication channels with the vendor project teams regarding outsourced project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• A minimum of 4+ years' experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry (experience on an FSP program is preferable).
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in a 'CRO oversight' or management role, including managing external relationships with study teams and vendors.
• Experience in Oncology studies would be a plus but is not essential.
