Senior Clinical Data Manager

Hobson Prior are currently working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation who focus on preventing, diagnosing and managing diseases. You will join them on a contract basis in Hertfordshire where you will work within a team of experts in data life-cycle management who acquire and curate data for use in exploratory research, clinical development and evidence generation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work together with the wider team and across the organisation to identify, design and execute fit for purpose data management solutions, adhering to F.A.I.R. (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles.
• Ensure the appropriate completion of data management deliverables and work alongside Functional Service Providers (FSPs) and vendors
• Supervising and providing technical expertise in the distribution of high-quality data.
• Contribute to the development of new notions, technologies, and standards.
• Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Data Collection and Acquisition.
• Provide Data Solutions, Data Quality Review, Data Curation and Support Analyses.

Key Skills:

• Outstanding and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of CDISC data standards.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and working in regulated environments.
• Project Management skills.
• Being well organised, able to effectively prioritise workload and multi-task.
• Knowledge of biological principles.
• Demonstrate scientific curiosity including an understanding of data types and their scientific use.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Life Sciences, Data/Computer Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent industry experience.
• Established leadership abilities around decision-making, negotiation and motivation.
• Knowledge in data analytics and/or visualization tools and techniques.
• Fluency in programming languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL etc.) would be advantageous.
