Hobson Prior are in search for a Sales Specialist to join a world leader within diagnostic solutions who have a strong product portfolio and an excellent pipeline of future products. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join their Centralised Solutions sales team, where you will be promoting the value proposition of products with key clinical, procurement and finance stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable to take a lead in the account sales strategy and implementation for the product portfolio on your territory, you will work closely with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team and Workflow IT Specialists.
- Managing and coordinating complex pan pathology procurements, utilising self-discipline and a creative approach to ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. This will involve engagement with all levels of the key decision-making team, including senior management.
- Developing innovative strategies to retain existing Roche sites and acquire new sites.
- Recognising market development and changes in NHS landscape on your territory (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes) to maximize opportunities/minimize threats.

- Ability to follow best practice and creativity to re-define best practice.
- Self-motivated, focused and methodical, with the ability to work alone, yet readily communicate and share knowledge to the team.
- Resilient, tenacious and both adaptable and flexible to work within a changing environment.
- Capable to sell with high credibility and be able to turn strategy into actionable implementation.
Requirements:
- Educated to BSc (Hons) /BA Degree or equivalent in a life science or business management subject
- Prior experience of complex field sales/or knowledge of laboratories.
- You will be skilled in defining customer needs and building strong and effective relationships.
- You will understand barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to drive positive sales outcomes.
