Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Research Scientist to join a Swiss global healthcare organisation who are focused on offering medical solutions in order to transform patients' lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing root cause analysis for particle formation in protein formulations.
• Assist the progress of analytical methods for in-depth classification of excipients.
• Design and implement studies to explore stability of surfactants as raw material & in formulations.
• Work closely with other departments and analytical groups.

• Being well organised, able to effectively prioritise workload and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sometimes under high pressure situations.
• Outstanding and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A 'can do' attitude with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.

Requirements:

• Educated to a Master's Degree level as a minimum in Scientific discipline. Analytical or Polymer Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences would be preferable.
• Prior practical experience in the field of HPLC/MS separation techniques. Separation of polymers and biomolecules would be advantageous.
