Hobson Prior are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation to join them on a permanent basis in Nottingham. This position is a great opportunity for a chance to work in a consumer led environment with the chance to make an impact on a global scale.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for working closely with cross functional partners to develop regulatory strategy for key projects, navigating complex regulations to drive competitive advantage and legal compliance.
  • Accountable for managing the outputs of core product non-product regulatory activities.
  • Management and continuous improvement of all regulatory practices, processes etc so that the department is transforming to meet the needs of the business.
  • Partake in trade association meetings influencing as appropriate for WBA, driving business benefit and minimizing business.
  • Drive the regulatory compliance mindset across Global brands and provide relevant training and advice as required to new brand teams and/or new regulatory team members.
  • Use multiple sources of scientific information and network with other technical experts.
  • Working cooperatively with a wider network of partners to define and implement the best regulatory approach to new regulatory requirements or regulatory challenges.
  • Develops positions on new and emerging legislation affecting operations and advises Global Brands and wider WBA organisation / retail partners on regulatory best practice and healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Company expert in specific areas of technical knowledge whose advice and input is frequently sought by the wider team.
  • Recognise and document all experimental protocols and methodology and report results and conclusions in line with appropriate standards or standard methodology.
  • Deep and continuously evolving knowledge of your area of expertise.
  • You demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all appropriate national and international standards and ensure these are reflected in business practices.
