Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join an innovative Medical Device company who specialise in 'sonic irrigation' equipment and accessories for Sterile Processing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting the administration of the quality functions in accordance with the requirements for ISO, FDA QSR, and STERIS policies.
• Including but is not limited to: review quality records (i.e. Device History Records), inspection, complaint investigation, record management, data trending, and document control functions.
• Document Control transactions in change control management system.
• Manage the retention of the records.
• Oversee calibration activities.
• Support lean activities.
• Facilitate Investigations (complaints, failure, etc.)
• Track and Trend Quality System Data.
• Take charge of Internal and Customer Audits.
• Organise Supplier Quality and Customer Assessments.
• Batch Record Release / Approve DHRs.
• Report into Management Review.
• Support risk assessment when required.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sometimes under high pressure situations.
• Generates detailed, high quality technical documentation.
• Gains perspective through experiences and developing new skills.
• Ability to provide clear and accurate data regarding product and process measurables.
• Can contribute positively to team decisions and actions.

Requirements:

• Prior experience within a medical device or pharmaceutical setting.
• Demonstratable knowledge of batch, records, change controls and Quality systems.
