Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join an innovative Medical Device company who specialise in 'sonic irrigation' equipment and accessories for Sterile Processing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out routine inspections in accordance with the requirements for ISO, FDA QSR, and STERIS policies.
• Including but is not limited to: raw material/incoming, in-process, and final products, selecting and utilizing proper measurement instrumentation.
• Complete inspections using procedures, engineering drawings, regulations, and quality system records (Device History Records, checklist, inspection records, etc.)
• Use standard measuring equipment to perform inspections (Micrometer, Calipers, etc.)
• Recognise, isolate and document rejected material in designated areas and communicate accordingly.
• Provide help in other aspects of quality control as necessary.
• Review quality documentation.

Key Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Provides clear and precise data concerning product and process measurables.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sometimes under high pressure situations.

Requirements:

• Minimum one-year experience within a medical device or pharmaceutical setting.
• Demonstratable knowledge of Quality Documentation.
