Hobson Prior currently have a new opportunity for a QP to act as a 'Qualified Person' on the company's Manufacturing/Wholesale Dealer's licenses as required by Article 51 of Directive 2001/83/EC and Article 55 of Directive 2001/82/EC and Statutory Instrument S.I. 2012 No. 1916, on behalf of the company. This is a permanent position based in Queenborough.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to lead a Quality Operations value stream and team of quality officers and auditors to ensure quality and operations are aligned and quality culture is in built from the shop floor.
  • Ensures excellent customer service and satisfaction in the QP value stream and swift resolution of issues.
  • Member of the Senior Quality Leadership Team, assisting in directing the Quality department strategy.
  • Liaison with other sites in the network and the broader team on Quality initiatives and best practices are shared.
  • To negotiate QTAs with key customers.
  • Lead or support Regulatory inspections and customer audits.
  • Contributes, and where applicable facilitates the resolution of operational problems in Pharmaceutical Production whilst maintaining compliance to cGMP and license commitments.
  • Provides a day - to - day contact, aiming for consistency in approach for quality related issues for all departments through direct review of operational areas and practices.
  • Assists in the handling of complaints, annual product review, periodic product reviews and failures investigations.
  • Assist the QA Documentation and Compliance Group in ensuring site documentation is maintained to cGMP and agreed standards.
  • Development of Product Quality Attributes Records for all Manufactured products at Queenborough.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Science degree and significant relevant experience within pharmaceutical industry.
  • You will have at least 5 years at management level with demonstrated experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the appropriate European US regulations and quality control techniques.
  • A 'Qualified Person.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Production.
