Hobson Prior are currently working with a clinical-stage biotech organisation whose passion is to work together as one team and noticeably making life changing impact. Our client is seeking a QA Specialist for an exciting permanent position based in Hertfordshire.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will ensure that relevant line managers have visibility of pending/ due non-conformances, change controls, CAPAs and OOSs system documentation.
• You will be accountable for managing PQS non-conformances, change controls, CAPAs and OOS system documentation.
• Ensure that all systems used to monitor the progress of non-conformances, change controls, CAPAs and OOSs system documentation are kept up to date.
• Partake in design of e-QMS workflows for non-conformances, change controls, CAPAs and OOSs system documentation.
• Coordinate timely review and progression of non-conformance, change control, CAPA and OOS system documentation within the organisation.
• To provide advice and guidance to personnel on appropriate CAPAs.
• To work with QA Manager (Systems, Documentation and Training) to deliver training for non-conformance, change control, CAPA and OOS system documentation as required.
• Verify completion of CAPA actions.
• Deputise for PQS Document Controller as required.
• Other appropriate QA tasks as may be required.

Requirements:

• You are educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Significant experience and/ or familiarisation with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word and Excel).
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, minimum three years QA experience.
• To have a good understanding of QA principles, especially non-conformance, change control and CAPA systems.
