Hobson Prior currently have an exciting opportunity for a QA Officer to join a leading Pharmaceutical organisation who focus on delivering life-changing medicines. This is a contract, home-based position.


Job Responsibilities:

Accountable for product quality complaints, temperature excursions and supply & logistics complaint management.

Responsible for deviation investigations, quality issue management and escalation.

In charge of product release, change control, SOP management, Stability Data entry and management.

Will have control of Supply Chain Assurance (SCA) system administration and be responsible for the training system.

Manages all Quality Risk Management.

Oversees all Quality Agreements (establishment and maintenance) between the company and external suppliers as well as between operational sites.

Organises complaints issued for GSQ as a supplying or coordinating site.

Manages and maintains quality data and records in relevant quality management support systems as required.

Assists in the creation of and contributes to quality documentation as GSQ SOPs.

Manages internal deviations in Track wise deviation system.

Responsible for product release.

Batch record reviews (including certificates of analysis/conformance, assessment of deviations as required) including working in relevant quality management systems.

Assign usage decision for batches affected by critical deviations, assessed by Senior Quality Supplier Manager or Qualified Persons.

People Management Responsibility.

Ability to work independently under his/her own initiative.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements:

Educated to a minimum of bachelor's degree level in a science/technical field.

Previous experience in either the pharmaceutical operations environment or a pharmaceutical Quality Assurance role.

Prior proven knowledge of cGMPs, Quality Systems and the pharmaceutical supply chain environment.

Robust understanding of industry standards such as Pharmacopeia, ISO standards, etc.

Previous experience of product release.

Experience working in a PCO/PET organization or prior Lean/Six Sigma training.
