Product Manager - Tissue Diagnostics

Hobson Prior are looking for a Product Manager (Tissue Diagnostics) to join a world leader within diagnostic solutions where you will join their Molecular Solutions Marketing team. As the Product Manager you will be responsible for the product management of the innovative Tissue Diagnostics portfolio including reagents, assays and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• As the recognised marketing champion, both internally and externally, you will lead the assessment and evaluation of market information for the assigned products and provide up to date market analysis to contribute to 3-year business planning.
• Accountable for the entire product life cycle, including product management/ forecasting, pricing, training and the provision of marketing collateral.
• Uphold and communicate a high level of market and product knowledge and to aid the development of marketing strategy and marketing plans, to optimise performance in alignment with Business Unit and Company strategies.
• Translating the annual marketing plan you will manage product pricing and promotional activities and produce and co-ordinate tactical tools to implement specific marketing campaigns.
• Working closely with the local Sales Team and Global Marketing you will ensure adaption and implementation of Global marketing campaigns.
• You will act as the link between local country and the EMEA region, providing strategic insights while making sure that the local perspective is integrated into the Global brand strategy.
• You will be expected to spend approximately 20% of your time in the field or attending specific events, both across the UK, Ireland and on occasion, internationally.

Requirements:

• Degree educated in Life Science or Biomedical Science.
• You have knowledge of the laboratory diagnostics market and an understanding of Tissue Diagnostics technology.
• A minimum of 2 years Sales Experience within Tissue Diagnostics/Histology market or other related clinical pathology market.
• A minimum of 2 years Technical Experience with Tissue Diagnostic equipment gained either through employment in a Tissue Diagnostics/Histology Laboratory (example role: Biomedical Scientist or similar) or a supplier to Tissue Diagnostics/Histology Laboratories.
