Hobson Prior are looking for a Procurement Manager to join a world-wide pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland. Our client focuses on providing pioneering medical solutions to improve the quality of people's lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Secure operational handling of Contract Manufacturing suppliers for TPO.
• Challenge prices movements and handle commercial claims.
• Activate new product material number and coordination with Product Costing group (correct prices, BOM).
• Create, update and renew SAP Value contracts (in accordance to SOX-NFCM rules and Values/quantities in line with forecasts).
• Manage price request to the supplier within the existing agreements.
• Maintenance of SAP system.
• Collect Implementation record from Supply Chain Management to justify new product creation.
• Maintain Material Master and Source Lists.
• Manage Workflows for quantities and prices deviations (daily basis).
• Update Finance Standard prices (twice/year).
• Handling and approval of Transportation invoices.

Key Skills:

• Fluent English and German - additional languages preferred.
• Strong computer skills required: Skilled SAP user. Very high skill level with MS Excel.
• Able to manage large amounts of complex data to provide overviews of contract manufacturing business.
• Able to analyse price offers, de-compose pricing, and negotiate successfully with suppliers.
• Ability to work in cross-functional team to achieve both individual targets and contribute to team targets.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial competency; familiarity with contract clauses, and ability to conduct successful negotiations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or economics.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in pharmaceutical area, or fast-moving consumer goods area.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement role for Contract Manufacturing (or alternatively in an Account Manager role of a CMO).
