Hobson Prior are recruiting for a Principal Biostatistician for a fully remote position in the UK. If you have excellent experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, particularly within early phase Clinical Trials, then please get in touch!

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivers statistical expertise to support the design and interpretation of early phase clinical programs
• Designs and executes statistical analyses, methods (SAP) and results, including summary sections for clinical study reports
• Recognises opportunities for improvements to the protocol from a Statistical perspective
• Analyses Clinical data using SAS (and R), and reviews TFLs
• Shows expertise within randomization, sample size calculation, Bayesian methods etc.
• May be responsible for the Statistical element of submissions to authorities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Clinical Trial Statistician within the Pharmaceutical or related industries (8+ years preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of relevant Statistical Methodologies, (eg Bayseian).
• Technical knowledge of statistical software including SAS, R.
• Experience of clinical trial study design, clinical data analysis, and interpretation.
