Hobson Prior are looking for a Patient Access Manager to join a very patient focused biopharma organisation who are determined to enable better health to patients all around the world. The Patient Access Manager will work under the Patient Access Lead to implement and maintain Named Patient Access programs and support Post-Approval Interim Access requests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will support the implementation of end-to-end process for NPA program to support company priorities.
  • Ensure SOPs and training materials align with NPA program needs and update as needed.
  • Operationalize and roll out new/updated processes to support NPA programs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (not limited to but including product LPT, Market Access, Compliance, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Tech Ops, Corporate Communications), to ensure cross-functional alignment, and alignment of NPA program to stakeholder needs as appropriate.
  • Develop relationships and understanding of the patient access needs and processes across relevant geographies.
  • Ensure that NPA programs have adequate support from Shire, including disease awareness materials, websites and supporting patient services as allowed by local law.
  • Work with the Head of Continuum of Access to Medicines and Patient Access Lead to develop resource and budget planning for NPA programs.
  • Represent NPA and PAIA at CAM governance committee meetings and other governance meetings as required.
  • Deliver NPA, PAIA and awareness training of other CAM channels across the company (e.g. departmental meetings, commercial team meetings) in response to requests or identified needs.
  • Provide ongoing management of NPA programs, including maintenance of existing programs and implementation of new programs.

Requirements:

  • Life sciences degree, healthcare professional preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development or the equivalent in a contract research organization or other pharmaceutical industry support service.
  • Experience with early access/patient access programs, compassionate use, investigator-initiated research or clinical trials preferred.
