Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated Operations Lead to provide expertise in managing operations for clinical studies. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and the lifecycle of biomarker samples and data, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Offer expert advice on biomarker operations to clinical study teams.
• Develop and execute plans for managing biomarkers in drug and device studies.
• Oversee all biomarker-related activities, including vendor management and data quality assurance.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth sample collection and processing.
• Lead the selection and management of biomarker vendors, ensuring quality and performance.
• Work closely with data management teams to coordinate data delivery.
• Serve as the main contact for biomarker operations across multiple study teams.
• Provide technical guidance on biomarker analysis and related technologies.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and compliance for biomarker projects.
• Participate in meetings to deliver training and presentations on biomarker procedures.
• Address queries from health authorities regarding biomarker samples.
• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong background in clinical development and project management.
• Knowledge of drug development processes and regulations.
• Experience with biological sample processing and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
