Hobson Prior are looking for a Medical Science Liaison to be field based that will cover the Midlands to the South. As the MSL you will play an essential role in channelling scientific capabilities to bring important new therapies in solid tumours into clinical practice, making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Recognise, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with external scientific experts regarding disease-state and product-specific information.
• Understanding the needs of HCPs and developing insights through listening and observing the challenges faced in the treatment of prostate and other solid tumour indications.
• Attend and provide scientific support for Medical Affairs activities from scientific sessions at regional and national congress meetings.
• Responsible for the delivery of medical and scientific insights.
• Provide field-based scientific exchange and communication with external HCPs.
• Self-sufficiently manage a large territory with both academic and community experts.
• Proactive engagement and close cross-functional collaboration and alignment with local and regional medical affairs and commercial teams.
• Developing country medical projects in collaboration with UK HCPs (round table meetings, diagnosis workshops, disease education forums, etc) within the defined therapeutic area.

Key Skills:

• Excellent project management ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in delivering on projects at the country level, with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills - effectively communicating medical data/concepts.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy, or Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences or a qualifying experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Previous MSL experience.
• Pre-launch experience - adaptable to other complex topics
• MSL experience in Oncology is essential.
• Ability to travel.
