Medical Advisor

Hobson Prior are currently working with a non-profit organisation in Switzerland who are determined to further develop and improve existing cancer therapies. Our client is looking for a Medical Advisor to join them on a permanent basis, located in Bern.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribution in the evaluation of the study proposals and in the development of the organisations study protocols (Phase I-III studies).
• Represent as the contact for medical inquiries at the study centers. Contact and link to the specialists in the company's network.
• Contact person for answering medical inquiries and the interpretation of medical findings from the departments of the coordination centre according to the relevant SOP and job description.
• Support the Safety Office as a consultant and substitute for tasks requiring specific medical oncology expertise.
• Processing and assessment of specific questions within the scope of the study, which require the expertise of an oncologist.
• Acquisition of specific tasks in phase I studies (eg DLT assessment, MTD evaluation).
• Review and create safety reports (DSUR, ASR) of oncological studies.

Requirements:

• Completed medical studies with clinical oncology experience (preferred continuing medical oncology).
• Experience in planning and conducting clinical trials.
• Interest in oncological research, scientific issues and pharmacovigilance.
• You will have several years clinical experience.
• Good German and English knowledge in spoken and written (business fluent).
