Hobson Prior are looking for a Lead Statistical Programmer to join a medium-sized Pharmaceutical company in Cologne, Germany.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with external vendors (CRO / Consultancy) to perform QC and validation of TFL, SDTM and ADaM specifications.
• Represent as the key point of contact for external vendors, working with 'Lead Programmer' at the vendors, to manage timeframes, budgets and quality of the deliverables and the respond to any questions regarding the project expectations.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of study documents including annual safety reports, Data Management specifications, clinical study reports and regulatory documents.
• Support the company's analytics and data science groups to develop and integrate new advanced technologies and visualisation tools including R, Python, LSAF, etc.
• Provide technical SAS support to Medical Affairs and data mining projects.

Key Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with vendors and other functions.

Requirements:

• PhD (preferred) or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics and related topic.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Statistical Programmer within the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally working at a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology company.
• Expert user of SAS or R.
• Experience in a 'Lead Programmer' role in a clinical study programming team.
• Strong knowledge of CDISC (SDTM + ADaM) standards.
• Experience support submission-work is desirable.
