Hobson Prior are currently working with a Swiss world-wide pharmaceutical organisation who are looking for a Lab Technician to join them on a contract basis in Basel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Independent, punctual and technically correct execution of the work in the laboratory using HPLC, GC, wet chemical methods.
• Maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Compliance with GMP, GSU regulations.
• Ensure information flow (e.g. internal, external, team/laboratory group, customers).
• Partaking in training and further education according to the training plan.

Requirements:

• Several years as laboratory technician, sound (at least 3 - 5 years) experience in quality control or analytical laboratories.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of all common laboratory-relevant techniques or alternatively expert knowledge for special techniques.
• Good IT skills: Office applications, SAP, LIMS.
• German and English.
