Hobson Prior currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join an innovative gene therapy organisation who are determined to develop possible curative treatments for patients who are living with serious illnesses. This is a permanent position based in Shannon.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will provide HR guidance and support to the Ireland manufacturing site team on a broad spectrum of HR issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead recruitment to support the growth plans for the Ireland manufacturing site.
- Work closely with leaders and employees to foster a high-performance culture by supporting leaders with initiatives such as employee development, engagement and diversity and inclusion.
- Support the performance management cycle which will includes probation, reviews, objective setting and performance improvement plans.
- Coach managers and team leaders on any people management queries or concerns.
- Take responsibility for introducing new employment law and keep the business informed of legal issues which affect the business.
- Coordinate pay and benefits for the Irish business and be the first point of contact for all local payroll and employee queries.
- Recognise and implement appropriate training programmes across all levels of employees, including management and the senior leadership team.
- Coordinate programmes such as new starter inductions and assist with delivering training (as required).
- Working closely with UK HR and the EHS Manager, managing projects such as wellbeing initiatives, employment engagement surveys, mentoring and coaching programmes, diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Any other assigned tasks.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a HR Business Partner (>3 years) in a fast-paced, high growth business.
- Strong local HR operating knowledge; best practice and legislation (Ireland).
- Demonstrable experience producing HR metrics and analytics.
- Experience in coordinating, recruitment, talent, reward and engagement initiatives.
- Experience in managing complex organisational change.
