Health Economics Manager

Hobson Prior are currently working with a global biotechnology organisation who are seeking a Health Economics Manager to join them on a contract basis in Uxbridge. Our client focuses on transforming new discoveries and ideas into medicines for patients living with serious illnesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing Health Economics strategies and projects for Nephrology and General Medicine that leverage the value proposition created by the Global and Regional Health Economics, Medical and Business teams.
• Develops, implements and oversees the health economics and outcomes projects to support the organisations product across its lifecycle.
• Works closely with individuals and teams in Medical Affairs, Development, or business in achieving the objectives for the product.

Requirements:

• Health economics experience.
• Oversight experience in both internal and external projects.
• Experience in clinical and practical clinical trial protocol development
• A good understanding of study designs that produce clinically and economically relevant value information in both a development and post-launch time period.
• An understanding of the public and private payer environment and the requirements for health economics and value information.
• Knowledge and understanding of key marketplace factors, critical business issues and drivers.
