Drug Safety Physician

Hobson Prior are looking for a Drug Safety Physician to join a world-wide biopharma organisation who are focused on changing the lives of patients living with severe diseases. The role will be located in Slough on at 6-month contract.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be required to be a key assessor and contributor of the benefit-risk profile of products, involving risk minimisation strategies and signal detection activities.
• Contribute to the scientific analysis and review of various sources of safety data (e.g. regulatory, clinical, submission, legal, product quality).
• Deliver support to the Safety Lead for, Global Labelling Committee, Benefit Risk Board, Benefit Risk Team and Patient Value Unit activities.

Requirements:

• MD, PhD, PharmD, DVM or a degree that has relevance.
• An adequate training in analytic skills such as biostatistics or epidemiology.
• Have experience in Project management.
• Previous experience in a relevant scientific field.
• Excellent English scientific writing and communication skills.
• Can be capable to work in a matrix environment.
• Must have more than 2 years of pharmacovigilance experience which must include one or more areas from signal detection and management/safety surveillance, benefit-risk assessment or safety risk management in either the development or marketed setting.
