Drug Safety and Risk Management Specialist

Hobson Prior are looking for a Drug Safety and Risk Management Specialist to join a world-wide biopharmaceutical organisation focused on delivering pioneering and life-changing medicines. You will join them on a permanent basis in London.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform and support all local safety related activities as directed by the UK and Ireland Head of Drug Safety.
• Accountable to ensure compliance with local and international regulations and Celgene's internal standards.
• Support the UK and Ireland Head of Drug Safety by accurately and thoroughly training and mentoring junior members of staff to ensure compliance within the Drug Safety Department in the affiliate.
• Oversee and execute timely local case-processing activities, including ensuring robust investigation and follow-up of local safety reports for both marketed products and those under development.
• Contribute effectively as part of the Celgene Global Safety network.
• Oversee and execute timely and accurate reporting to the national competent Authorities.
• Represent the Drug Safety Department within the affiliate as a point of reference internally.

Requirements:

• Life science/Pharmacy degree or Registered Nurse.
• Previous relevant experience within a Pharmaceutical company or CRO.
