Hobson Prior are recruiting for an Drug product Specialist to join a biotech organisation who are focused on improving health all over the world through discovering and developing vaccines to stop serious diseases.

Job Responsibilities
:

  • You will deliver technical training and floor support to manufacturing.
  • To evaluate impact and document process deviations, troubleshoot processing issues.
  • You will outline critical parameters and assess process improvements.
  • To support in product site transfers as required.
  • To recognise process issues and plan and implement process improvements.
  • Author and provide input into technical standard operating procedures.
  • You will measure impact and document process deviations.
  • Act as primary technical resource for vaccine drug product manufacturing.
  • Author regulatory submission documents.
  • You will deliver input into user requirement documents.
  • Assist with the selection of equipment that meets the present and future process needs.
  • Act as the main technical resource for isolator technology, formulation, filling processes and inspection.
  • Evaluate process performance by monitoring and analysing process.
  • You will author and complete design of experiments activities to confirm the equipment and processes meet the requirements.
  • You will write/prepare manufacturing instructions.
  • To formulate protocols and conduct process validation.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills and proficiency in.
  • Word/Excel/PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Educated at BS / MS pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in pharmaceutical parenteral manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of commercial manufacturing equipment and knowledge of GMPs.
  • Excellent understanding of tech transfer process for aseptic manufacturing procedures.
  • Exposure to aseptic manufacturing technique. Working understanding of sterile drug product development.
  • Assessment Test if applicable.
  • You will have knowledge of technical support for vaccine parenteral manufacturing operations is favoured.
