Hobson Prior are looking for an exciting opportunity as a Development Engineer based in Austria. Our client is focused on achieving technology that can be developed in providing hearing implant solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support in the development of implantable acoustic sensors for new hearing implant systems up to series production.
• Electroacoustic verification of components and assemblies including calculation, simulation, and measurements on development prototypes.
• Documentation, verification, and validation in accordance with the quality assurance system.
• Support in the implementation and evaluation of clinical studies (willingness to travel).
• Coordination of technical details in the development team, with other departments as well as with suppliers and service providers.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in acoustics, electroacoustics, medical technology, electronics, communications technology, or a comparable field of study.
• Experience in developing microphones is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of signal processing for active noise cancellation is desirable.
• Personal responsibility, systematic and independent work in a team.
• Very good communication skills in German and English.
