Decision Analytics Consultant/Real World Evidence

Hobson Prior currently have an exciting opportunity for a Decision Analytics Consultant/Real World Evidence to join a global professional services organisation who are focused on developing and delivering products that drive customer value and company results. You will join them on a permanent basis in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to work with the global pharmaceutical industry to help gain significant efficiencies in drug development; validate and communicate product value.
• Accountable to improve patient outcomes by bringing in real world patient insights throughout the product lifecycle while optimizing trial design, accelerated clinical operations, and developing RWD technology platforms and applications.
• Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approach.
• Manage lifecycle RWE strategy that aligns evidence generation with commercial, clinical, and regulatory needs.
• You will lead project teams in design and execution of analyses to test hypotheses and improve client commercial effectiveness.
• Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings.
• Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on the key client issues.
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and practice areas.
• Partake in business development.
• Contribute to internal firm activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• MBA with a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline, such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering. Alternately, candidates may possess a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 5-8 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• A minimum of 3 years post-MBA relevant work experience.
• You will have 3-5 years of pre-MBA relevant work experience, with evidence of strong analytic work (including use of advanced modeling techniques and tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA
• Medical or R&D experience with the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
• Biostatistics, informatics, or statistics background alignment with an understanding of RWE.
