Decision Analytics Consultant/Real World Data & Insights

Hobson Prior currently have an exciting opportunity for a Decision Analytics Consultant/Real World Data & Insights to join a world-wide professional services organisation who are focused on developing and delivering products that drive customer value and company results. You will join them on a permanent basis in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable to work with the global pharmaceutical industry to help gain significant efficiencies in drug development; validate and communicate product value to payers, regulatory authorities and physicians.
• Improve patient outcomes by bringing in real world patient insights throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage Real World Evidence Strategy through product lifecycle aligning evidence generation across, clinical, commercial, medical, and regulatory needs.
• Lead project teams in design and execution of analyses to test hypotheses and improve client commercial effectiveness.
• Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approach.
• Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings.
• Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses on the key client issues.
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• You will provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and practice areas.
• Partake in business development.
• Contribute to internal firm activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• MBA with a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline, such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering. Alternately, candidates may possess a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 5-8 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• Up to 3 years of post-MBA relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of pre-MBA relevant work experience, with evidence of strong analytic work (including use of advanced modeling techniques such as open source ML algorithms and tools such as R, Python, Jupyter Notebooks).
• Prior experience with various data subjects across HealthCare such as Electronic Medical Records /Electronic Health Records, Administrative Insurance Claims data, Safety and Research Registry data, and Medical Device and Sensor data.
• Prior experience with customer data, modeling and statistical analysis of Real-World Data sets, as well as commercial applications using consumer data and real-world data.
• Biostatistics, informatics, or statistics background alignment with an understanding of protocols design to generate Evidence.
