Hobson Prior are currently working with a swiss based biopharmaceutical company who are seeking a Clinical Trial Associate to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract in Lausanne. You will be involved with the set up and follow up of the studies as well as in the management of the study documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the quality of all aspects and key steps of the clinical study deliverables.
• Assist with the delivery of the clinical study according to the ICH GCP and local applicable regulations, and in accordance with internal SOPs/WPs.
• Update and record study reporting tools (e.g. weekly follow-up chart on-line, Export of the CRO reporting tool).
• Verify work orders provided by vendor's and create/update purchase orders.
• Distribute invoices according to the relevant purchase order on an ongoing basis, track payments to vendors and study sites, ensuring the Accounts file is up to date.
• Act as Backup and primary point of contact of the study in the case of short term or unexpected absences of the CTM.

Key Skills:

• Comprehensive hands-on knowledge of validated eTMF system, processes and related standards.
• Previous experience in management and filing of Trial Master File content and its quality control.
• Outstanding and professional communication skills, both written and verbal- English is essential and French advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work simultaneously on a number of tasks with tight timelines.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated background of at least 2 years of experience as CTA or comparable operating experience in Pharma/CRO/healthcare.
• Familiarity of budget and invoicing prerequisites, as well as drug development process and medical terminology.
