Hobson Prior are currently working with a Cell and Gene Therapy biotech organisation who are looking for a Biostatistician (Translational Medicine) to join them on a permanent basis in London.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will deliver statistical analyses to assess exploratory hypotheses in the company's start-up phase Translational Medicine program.
• Perform modelling and integration of biological datasets, pulled from NGS, proteomics and other sources, to evaluate the hypotheses and provide direction for the future of the Translational project.
• Author and co-author quality papers to be referenced in peer-reviewed journals.

Key Skills:

• Time management ability in order to manage/ work on several projects concurrently.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or related topic.
• Strong user of R or Python.
• Knowledge of UNIX-based/ cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of Clinical Trials or Translational Science is preferred.
