Hobson Prior are currently working with a Global Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Health company who are seeking a Biostatistician to join them on a permanent basis in Basel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support project teams providing statistical expertise to optimize decision-making and influence strategy, from early research through to development and marketing.
• Provide technical input into data visualisations, data analysis, meta-analysis and statistical reporting to answer research questions for nutrition and health projects.
• Use statistical methods to optimise the design and statistical power of how the company organises data for clinical studies in humans and feeding studies in farm animals.
• Contribute to the company's global digital transformation strategy by liaising with CROs, NGOs, research institutes, etc.

Key Skills:

• Ability to manage/ work on several projects at one time with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders for projects and deadlines.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related topic.
• Level 1: PhD qualified + use of R.
• Level 2: 2-3+ years' experience within Clinical Trials + use of R.
• Level 3: 5+ years' experience within Clinical Trials + use of R.
• Strong user of R or SAS.
• Knowledge of Clinical Trials is preferred.
