Hobson Prior are currently seeking an Associate Manager - Drug Safety & Public Health for a research-based biopharmaceutical company. Our client is very patient-focused, whose scientific research has benefitted hundreds of thousands of people by ensuring medications are available to those who could otherwise not afford them. This position will be on a 12-month contract basis located in Uxbridge, London.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of statistical programming principles, analysis methods and data resources in the field of Epidemiology utilizing industry-standard analytic tools.
- Contribute to interpretation of analysis results and preparation of study reports, conference abstracts and presentations, and manuscripts.
- Contribute to development and/or review of Statistical Analysis Plans.
- Support other intra-departmental and inter-departmental cross-functional activities to accomplish business objectives.
- Review, synthesize, and critique the published literature and generate (systematic) reviews.
- May assess and implement new data resources, methods, technology and analytic tools.

- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, teamwork and initiative, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the organization; maintain meticulous attention to project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Requirements:
- MPH/MS in Epidemiology or a PhD in Epidemiology with significant experience in observational research.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS and/or R) is required.
- Ability to work in a rapid, agile project style environment is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience of having worked in the field of HIV is a plus.
- Experience of working with large electronic health records databases is a plus.
