After working for the customer services team at his local council offices James joined Hobson Prior, where he has been for four years. He showed great promise early on, making his first placement and winning ‘consultant of the month’ after just two months.
2013 was a big year for James; he became a mentor at Hobson Prior and was promoted to Swiss team leader. His success has continued and, at the beginning of 2015, he was promoted to international team manager, responsible for developing new client relationships across Europe, managing key accounts and leading a team of consultants.
Nick graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2010 with a law degree, and joined Hobson Prior as a trainee recruitment consultant three years later. Focusing on permanent pharmacovigilance positions within the UK, Nick was one of the first members of Hobson Prior's London Team, which has seen significant growth over the years. He was also the first to receive an Exceptional Performance Award from senior management. Nick now heads up a team of five recruitment consultants, and his clients include a range of pharmaceutical, biotech and consultancy companies.
David left Durham University with a business degree in 2010. He joined Hobson Prior after graduating where, over the past five years, he has become a successful recruitment consultant.
David’s expertise lies within contract/interim clinical recruitment in Europe and he now leads a team of clinical consultants in this area. Since 2010, David has placed over 85 contractors across Europe (most notably UK, Switzerland, France, Germany and Spain) ranging from clinical trial administrators to clinical directors. He has extensive experience of account managing large recruitment programmes with some of the biggest pharm organisations in Europe but also maintains a hands-on recruitment focus.
Charlotte heads up our Key Clients Team, which she established in 2016. She leads a growing team of consultants, and oversees the management of large accounts with select clients.
Charlotte graduated with a 2:1 in Biology. She joined Hobson Prior in 2014 as a trainee, working on permanent quality assurance roles within the UK. Charlotte has continuously excelled in her role here, rising quickly through the ranks to her current position as Key Client Team Leader.
Having graduated from Reading University in 2013, Elliot joined Hobson Prior in 2014 to lead its production and engineering functions. He is an exceptionally high performer and has been promoted several times within the firm.
Elliot now leads a team of six consultants focusing on Production, Engineering, Research & Development, Supply Chain and Health and Safety. He supports a number of key clients across the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech sectors.
Callum graduated from Southampton University in 2006 with a business management degree and, set on a career in recruitment, immediately joined Hobson Prior.
Three years later he left to work for a competitor recruitment firm but returned to Hobson Prior in 2014 to lead the interim pharmaceutical QA team and works with a number of key clients.
Patrick joined Hobson Prior in 2008 as a contracts recruiter within clinical operations. He was promoted in 2010 to Interim Team Leader, then again to Sales Manager, and most recently to Sales Director in 2017.
With more than seven years’ experience in life sciences recruitment, Patrick now oversees all aspects of the interim division across Europe, strategising for new client development and continuation of key relationships. He has been instrumental in facilitating the success of the interim team, which has grown year on year and is now a preferred / exclusive supplier to many leading life science businesses across Europe.
Nicola has extensive recruitment experience including managed services and outsourcing solutions. She joined Hobson Prior in 2010 to assist with the development of the contract management function and today leads the team that provides contract management support to our clients and contractors. Nicola’s responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of all our interim assignments and she was instrumental in the implementation of our online contract management system.
Nicola also advises and trains our consulting team on legal and compliance matters and ensures we remain compliant following legislation changes. She is responsible for developing strong working relationships with our partner companies and auditing them to ensure we offer compliant solutions across Europe.
Michael graduated in 2009 with a first class honours degree in business administration. He worked as a sales executive for an energy company, thriving on the highly competitive, commission-based environment, before joining Hobson Prior in 2011 looking for an opportunity to progress his career.
Michael was promoted from trainee consultant to principal consultant in record time and was Hobson Prior’s top billing consultant in 2013 and 2014. Driven to succeed, he has made over 100 placements throughout Europe and has never missed a promotion target.
As well as assuming responsibility for headhunting training for all new and existing team members, Michael looks after the interim biometrics function and manages a team of resourcers.
